Experience the joys of photographing nature…

Many of us enjoy taking photographs of the beauties of Creation, whether a flower, a bird, an animal, or landscape. In 1985 when I first started taking nature photos, Nature Friend magazine was one of the first places I sent photos to for possible publication.  I had no idea our family would some day own the magazine.

Now we have added a Study Guide which includes several bonus features, one of which teaches nature photography tips.  Additionally, we invite you to submit your best photos for possible publication in “The Photo Critique.”

Please note that the Study Guide will only ship with current Nature Friend magazine subscriptions.  It is not available as a stand-alone item.

The August 2009 Study Guide teaches you in twenty-five minutes, what took me almost twenty-five years learn, concerning photographing owls in flight.  Here is a photo taken by my son, Darren, right here at Nature Friend.  You can do this type of photography too.
