Suet Treat
Melt together:
—1 cup lard
—1 cup unsalted peanut butter
Add:
—2½ cups oats
—2½ cups cornmeal
—Raisins, nuts, birdseed
“Zick Dough” Suet
Melt together:
—1 cup lard
—1 cup unsalted peanut butter
Combine:
—2 cups unmedicated chick starter
—2 cups oats
—1 cup cornmeal
—1 cup flour
Mix ingredients together. Keep cool and feed in cold weather.
Bird Treat
—1 cup unsalted peanut butter
—1 cup vegetable oil
—4 cups cornmeal
—1 cup whole wheat flour
Bluebird Treat
—1 cup unsalted peanut butter
—2 cups cornmeal
—2 cups oatmeal
—1 cup flour
—1 cup raisins
—¼ cup sugar
Bird Suet
—1 cup unsalted peanut butter
—1 cup lard
—2 cups oatmeal
—2 cups cornmeal
—1 cup flour
—⅓ cup sugar
Bird Suet Cakes
—1 cup lard
—1 cup whole wheat flour
—1 cup honey
—1 egg
—1 cup oats
Bake in a 9-inch square pan at
350° F for 30-40 minutes.
