This snowflake has been a favorite ever since I first saw it in Don Komarechka’s book, Sky Crystals. I am intrigued by the “open window” look. How fun is that? Also notice that four of the six branches are largely symmetrical, while the two at the twelve and six o’clock positions are similar to each other but of a different look than the other four.
