Building a Bird Feeder

Build a bird feeder, and write clear instructions for a “Learning By Doing” lesson so others can make the same feeder you did. If possible, photograph the steps, or otherwise illustrate the steps with drawings. Be neat.

At the minimum, photograph the finished project, find someone to photograph it for you, or send the project to us. If you choose the latter, we will not return the project unless you pay for return shipment. Projects sent to us may be distributed by us for use as we deem best, including giving to widows, shut-ins, homes, or otherwise.

Parents may help children. We don’t want anyone hurt using tools, and we like to encourage family projects.

Who may submit: The household of active subscribers, any age.

Photos/scans: We require high resolution (300 dpi) digital photos/art scans.

Deadline: Send your submissions by December 30, 2023.

Label all submissions with your subscriber number (See mailing label). Include your name, address, and phone number. Also put your name on USB drives and in photo file names. A self-addressed, stamped envelope (SASE) plus $2 required if return is requested.
