We had barely finished photographing the nest featured in the August issue, when Cheryl spotted this nest at our home. Mom was still incubating the eggs.
Our gum tree is not as photogenic as the cedar was, but no matter. It is always fun to see a hummingbird nest.
This nest is about ten feet above our lane. We are using a section of scaffolding to get this elevation on the nest.
